This short Guide Shows You you How-to Install the Latest Firefox for Linux CentOS/RHEL 6 by YUM Packages Manager. At this Time is the Newest Served by YUM is the Firefox 15 Release.

Firefox & CentOS
  1. Open a Terminal Window
    (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)
    Become the SuperUser
    su 

    If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then Look: Solution

  3. Install the Remi and Epel Repositories
    Check for wget:
    which wget

    If No wget then:

    sudo yum install wget

    Install Repositories:

    cd /tmp
    wget http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/beta/6/i386/epel-release-6-5.noarch.rpm
    wget http://rpms.famillecollet.com/enterprise/remi-release-6.rpm
    su  
    rpm -Uvh remi-release-6*.rpm epel-release-6*.rpm
