This Post Show a General Setup on Web Hosting for Mapping/Pointing/Resolving a Domain Name to a public IP with an A Name DNS Record.

The Process is Often Useful to Set-Up your Hosting on Cloud Services like the Amazon AWS Ec2 Cloud, where you Dispose of an IP but Not of DNS Records to Easy Linking IP and Domain Name.

The Practical Example Shown here has been Done for a :( co.cc Domain, but a similar Solution should Exists for Every Domain.

  1. On Account Access “Zone Records” for Domain
  2. Provide to Setup like Here Below
    • Select the “A” Type
    • Insert the Domain Name with www Prefix or Sometime Instead “@”
    • Insert the Target IP
