  1. Download Selenium RC:

    Selenium RC Server .jar
  2. Open Terminal Window
    (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands):
    Fedora 18 Xfce - Open Terminal
  3. Check if Java JDK is Installed
    java -version

    Install Sun JDK for Fedora
  4. Start Selenium Server
    cd /selenium-server*.jar
    java -jar selenium-server-standalone-2.25.0.jar

    Then the Selenium Server will Listen by Default for the Selenium Client on the 4444 Port.

  5. Getting-Started with Selenium RC Python Client
    1. Installing Selenium Python Client:

      Selenium Python
    2. Start Browser by Selenium Python RC Client
