  1. Download Eclipse C/C++ 4.6 Neon:

  2. Double-Click on Archive and Extract Eclipse into /tmpLinux KDE4 Eclipse CPP Extraction
  3. Open Terminal Window
    (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)

  4. Install Required Packages
    su 

    If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then Look: Solution

    zypper install gcc-c++
  5. Relocating Eclipse

    chown -R root:root /tmp/eclipse && mv /tmp/eclipse /opt/
  6. Starting Eclipse from Terminal

    Making a Symlink

    ln -s /opt/eclipse/eclipse /usr/local/bin/eclipse

    After you can Start Eclipse from Terminal simply with:

    eclipse
