The Linux Tutorial Simply Shows How-to Install Nevernote the Evernote Linux Clone Nixnote 1.6 on OpenSuse 13.X KDE4 i686/x8664 Desktop.

At the Moment there is Not Available an Official Release of Evernote for Linux but the Clone seem be Working Better that the Original one… So Everything Alright :)

The Screenshots of Installation Correspond to the Install on a OpenSUSE 13.X KDE4 Desktop but the Procedure on Gnome, Xfce, Lxde… Should be Near Identical.

Following the Easiest and Practicable Way I have Expressly Reduced to the Minimum the Use of Terminal Commands.

Take Note: At the Same Time I’m also Illustrating here the Easiest Way of Installing the New Downloaded .rpm Packages with Dependencies :)

Install Evernote on OpenSUSE 13.X KDE - Featured
  1. Download the Evernote Linux Clone

    Nixnote 1.6 .rpm for Linux
  2. Select the Open with Package Installer or Double-Click after downloading

    We Suppose that you Browser like Firefox will Prompt you About the Downloading Procedure to Follow like Here.

  3. When the Download is Achieved you will be Automatically Prompted for Installing

    Follow to Confirm and Authorize Also if you Are Warned About Installation of Unsigned Content

  4. Download the Nixnote 1.6 Unstables Patches:

    Nixnote 1.6 Patch .jar
  5. Replace the nixnote.jar with the Patched Version

    sudo su -c "mv ~/Downloads/nixnote.jar /usr/share/nixnote/"
  6. After a Successful Installation you Find Evernote Into Applications >> Internet
