    update-alternatives --config java

  6. Optionally Set Java Environment Variables

    su <myUser>
    nano $HOME/.bashrc

    Append:

    export JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/jdk1.7.<X_uY>

    Ctrl+x to Save & Exit from nano :)

    source $HOME/.bashrc
