Getting-Started with iScan Scanning on Kali - Featured
  1. Download Epson Image Scan Software for GNU/Linux:

    Search “MY-MODEL” (Eg.:WF-3640) for Linux


  2. Open Terminal Window
    (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)

  3. Extract imageScan Bundle
    Double-Click and Extract into /tmp.

    Or from Shell:

    tar xvzf ./imagescan*.deb.tar.gz -C /tmp/

  4. Then Install imageScan Software for Linux
    Change to the software Location:

    cd /tmp/imagescan*

    Then Run the Installer:

    sudo ./install.sh
  5. Launch imageScan and Start Scanning :)

    From Terminal simply with:

    imagescan
