Download Epson Image Scan Software for GNU/Linux:

Open Terminal Window
(Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)Ctrl+Alt+t

Extract imageScan Bundle
Double-Click and Extract into /tmp.Or from Shell:
tar xvzf ./imagescan*.deb.tar.gz -C /tmp/

Install the Software Dependencie
sudo apt-get install xsltproc
If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then Look: Solution

Then Install imageScan Software for Linux
Change to the software Location:cd /tmp/imagescan*
Then Run the Installer:
sudo ./install.sh

Launch imageScan and Start Scanning :)
From Terminal simply with:
imagescan
