Hello Mint User! The Tutorial shows you Step-by-Step and Visually How to Upgrade from Linux Mint 18 Sarah to Linux Mint 18.1 Serena Mate/Cinnamon/KDE/Xfce Desktop.

The Upgrading Procecure is Simple and Involve only the use of the graphical Update Manager Tool.

1. Launch Update Manager
   Search for ‘update’ (Here on Mate.)

   

2. Choose an Update Policy
   Confirm with the Ok button!

   

3. First, Update the Update Manager
   Cliccking on Install Updates

   

4. Then Refresh
