Download Eclipse 4.8 Photon R IDE JEE for Linux:Eclipse 4.8 Photon R IDE JEE Linux
- Double-Click on Gnome or
On KDE Right-Click on Archive > Open with Ark
Then Extract Into /tmp.
Open Terminal Window
(Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)
Set the SuperUser as owner:
sudo chown -R root:root /tmp/eclipse
If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then Look: Solution
Then Switch the Eclipse contents with:
sudo mv /tmp/eclipse /opt/
Starting Eclipse from Terminal
Making a Symlink:
ln -s /opt/eclipse/eclipse /usr/local/bin/eclipse
After you can Start Eclipse JEE from Terminal simply with:
