Installing

  1. 2. Downloading Postman for CentOS

    Download Postman for CentOS GNU/Linux

    Get Postman for CentOS x86/x64

    If possible Select directly “Open with Archive Manager”!

  2. 3. Extracting Postman Archive

    Then Extract Postman tar.gz into /tmp Directory
    If it does Not Open automatically then Double-Click on File Manager

    Or from Command Line:

    tar xvzf ~/Downloads/Postman*.tar.gz -C /tmp/
  3. 4. Installing Postman

    First Set the SuperUser as Owner with:

    sudo chown -R root:root /tmp/Postman

    Then Relocate it:

    sudo mv /tmp/Postman /opt/

    Again Make a Symlink for Easy Launching on Shell:

    sudo ln -s /opt/Postman/app/Postman /usr/local/bin/Postman
