How to Install Google-Chrome Browser on Debian Stretch

Installing

  1. 2. Downloading Google-Chrome

    Download Google-Chrome for Debian/Ubuntu Linux.

  2. 3. Installing GDebi

    Then Setup GDebi Package Installer
    Check if Gdebi is there:

    which gdebi

    If not then Install it with:

    sudo apt update && sudo apt install gdebi
  3. 4. Installing Google-Chrome

    Right-Click on Chrome .deb >> Open with GDebi Package Installer.

    Install Google-Chrome on Debian Stretch 9 - GDebi Installing Chrome .deb Package

    And then simply Click on Install Package
    Or from Command Line like:

    sudo apt install ~/Downloads/google-chrome*.deb
