Installing

1. 1. Downloading Chrome for Lubuntu

   Download Google-Chrome for Ubuntu

   Chrome .deb 64-bit Linux

   Get .deb 64-bit Chrome Release

   If you are using Firefox then Prompt Choose “Open with GDebi”:

   

   Or After simply Select the Package by the Downloads Button on Top Panel:

   

2. 2. Installing Chrome on Lubuntu

   Then to Install Google Chrome on Lubuntu
   In case, Double-Click/Right-Click on the File Manager to Open with GDebi:

   

   The GDebi Package Installer will Provide to Install the Package with All his Dependencies…
   And then simply Confirm for Installation.
   Or from Command Line with:

   sudo gdebi ~/Downloads/google-chrome*.deb

3. 3. Launching Chrome

   Finally, Launch & Enjoy Chrome Browser!
   Or Instead, Make Use of the Desktop Launcher.

   

   Possibly, Check if Google-Chrome is in the User Path on Terminal Shell.

   which google-chrome

   If Chrome it is Not Found on System then Make a Symlink to it with:

   sudo ln -s /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome /usr/local/bin/google-chrome

   Authenticate with the User Admin Pass.
   If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then see: How to Enable sudo
   Then you will be able to Run it from Terminal simply with:

   google-chrome
