2. 2. Downloading Komodo Edit

   Download Komodo-Edit for GNU/Linux

   Komodo Edit 12.x x86/x8664 tar.gz

   Choose the Latest Komodo-Edit 32/64-bit Linux Release

   Possibly, on Firefox Prompt Choose “Save File”:

   

3. 3. Extracting Komodo Edit

   Then Extract Archive into /tmp
   Possibly, Right-Click > Open with Archive Manager:

4. 4. Installing Komodo Edit

   Then to Install Komodo Edit
   First, Change to Komodo Directory:

   cd /tmp/Komodo-*

   And then Run Installation Script:

   sudo ./install.sh

   Set the Target Directory
   For instance: /opt/Komodo-Edit
   Furthermore, if needed, Make Symlink to Komodo bynary:

   sudo ln -s /opt/Komodo-Edit/bin/komodo /usr/local/bin/komodo
