  1. 2. Downloading Epson Scanner Software

    Download Epson Image Scan Driver & Software for GNU/Linux

    Search “MY-MODEL” (Eg.:WF-3640) and Linux
  2. 3. Extracting Epson Scanner Software

    Extract Image Scan Bundle.

    Possibly Double-Click on Archive in File Manager and Extract into /tmp:

    Or from Shell:

    tar xvzf ./*scan*.deb.tar.gz -C /tmp/
  3. 4. Installing Epson Scanner Software

    Then Install iScan/imageScan Software for Linux
    Change to the software Location:

    cd /tmp/*scan*

    Then Run the Installer:

    sudo ./install.sh

    Authenticate with the User Admin Pass.
    If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then see: How to Enable sudo.
