2. 2. Downloading MongoDB

   Download MongoDB for Fedora GNU/Linux

   MongoDB for Fedora

   Downloading MongoDB for Fedora

   Choose the Red Hat Linux 8 Release!

3. 3. Making Directory

   Then to Make Needed Directory
   Run:

   sudo mkdir -p /data/db

   If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then see: How to Enable sudo
   Then Set the Right Permissions:

   sudo chmod g+w /data/db

   The User Running the MongoDB Server need Write Permission on /data/db!

4. 4. Installing MongoDB

   Now to Install MongoDB for Fedora
   Simply play:

   sudo dnf install ~/Downloads/mongodb*.rpm
