Printer Canon I-SENSYS Installation in Arch Linux

Adding Printer

  1. 4. Installing CUPS

    And to Install CUPS in Arch Linux
    Simply run:

    sudo pacman -S cups
  2. 5. Running CUPS

    Then to Start CUPS Service
    Execute:

    sudo service cups start

    And to Enable it at Boot:

    sudo systemctl enable cups
  3. 6. Launching Printers App

    Then Run Printing Manager
    Here below for the Xfce Desktop:

  4. 7. Installing Printer

    First, Select the ‘Administration’ Tab:

    Choose ‘Add Printer’ or ‘Find Printers’:

    And Follow the Wizard…

    Then Browse to “Install PPD File” Driver.
