Printer Canon I-SENSYS Driver Installation in openSUSE

Installing Driver

  1. 2. Downloading Canon i-SENSYS openSUSE Driver

    Download Canon Printers Linux Drivers

    Canon Printers CQue/UFRII .rpm Driver

    Possibly Search for a Same Series Model
    Eg: for MF218 a MF211 will Works the Same!
    Get preferably the CQue elsewhere the UFRII.

  2. 3. Installing Canon i-SENSYS openSUSE Driver

    Finally, to Install Canon i-SENSYS openSUSE Driver.

    • For CQue.

      sudo zypper in ~/Downloads/CQue*.rpm
    • And instead for UFRII
      Double-Click & Open with Archive Manager
      Then Extract into the /tmp directory:

      Fedora Install Canon UFR-II Printer Driver - File Manager

      Next Change to the Target
      For 32-bit Systems:

      cd /tmp/uk_eng/32-bit*/RPM

      And for 64-bit:

      cd /tmp/uk_eng/64-bit*/RPM

      Finally, to Install:

      sudo zypper in ./*.rpm
