Step-by-step – Broadcom-wl-dkms Installation in Fedora 35

Installing

  1. 2. Installing Dependencies

    Now Install Required Packages
    With:

    sudo dnf -y install make dkms
  2. 3. Enabling UnitedRPMs Repository

    Enable UnitedRPMs Repo for Fedora GNU/Linux

    Add UnitedRPMs Repo for Fedora
  3. 4. Upgrading Fedora Kernel

    Finally, to Upgrade System & Kernel
    This Step Only to make sure that the Broadcom Wl Driver Match the Running Kernel after Reboot.
    Simply play:

    sudo dnf upgrade

    (On a Multi-Boot System you may need to Update Grup after a Kernel Upgrade.)
    And then to Reboot:

    sudo reboot
  4. 5. Installing Broadcom Wl DKMS Driver

    Then to Install broadcom-wl-dkms Fedora Firmware
    Run:

    sudo dnf install broadcom-wl-dkms

    Now Check the Driver Status:

    sudo dkms status

    If it’s installed that should be just allright.
    But in case, to Build it:

    sudo dkms build broadcom-wl/6.30.223.271

    Possibly Amend the above Command with the Actual Release from the former Output.
    And then to Install Broadcom Wl DKMS Module issue:

    sudo dkms install broadcom-wl/6.30.223.271

    Finally, to load it Reboot with:

    sudo reboot

    Congratulations! your Wi-fi Adapter should be Working now.
