Installing

  1. 2. Looking Up Card Model

    Then to Find Wireless Card Model
    This is necessary only to Ascertain the Wireless Chipset ID

    Finding Out Wifi Card Model

    This to make Sure the Adapter is Supported by this Firmware!
    Eventualy Check the Driver specification page to Find out All Supported Models.
    But if you Do Not find a PRO/Wireless in the Output then instead See: How to Install firmware-iwlwifi and firmware-intelwimax.

    Or instead to Install just that needed for your current Adapter you should instead see: Intel Wi-fi Firmware Manual Setup.

  2. 3. Installing Firmware

    Then to Install Intel Wireless Firmware Package
    Simply play:

    sudo apt install firmware-ipw2x00 wireless-tools

    Authenticate with the User Admin Pass.
    If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then see: How to Enable sudo.

    Now to Load Intel Wireless Adapter
    Just perform:

    sudo modprobe -r ipw2200 ; sudo modprobe ipw2200
