Following the Easiest and Practicable Way I have Expressly Reduced to the Minimum the Use of Terminal Commands.

So Take the Time of Carefully Reading and Executing the Instructions Contained Here and All should Work Like a Breeze :)

  1. Download Evernote Clone tar.gz Current Release

    Evernote-Linux Amd64.tar.gz
  2. Open a Terminal Window
    (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)
    Debian Linux Wheezy Xfce Open Terminal
  3. Right-Click on Archive and Extract to… /tmp
    Debian Xfce Desktop Extract Evernote tar.gz
  4. Check if Java JDK is Installed
    java -version

    The Output Must Contains JDK and Not Simply Runtime Environment!

  5. Execute Nixnote/Evernote Installer
    su 

    If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then Look: Solution

    cd /tmp/nixnote*/nixnote
    ./install.sh

    In a Couple of Seconds yo Get Nixnote Successfully Installed on Debian Xfce :)
