Ruby
  1. Install the Ruby Version Manager.

  2. Open a Terminal Window
    (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands).

  3. Check/Install Git.

    which git

    Possibly to Install Git:

    sudo apt-get install git
  4. Check/Install Patch.

    which patch

    Possibly to Install Patch:

    sudo apt-get install patch
  5. Load Bash Shell.

    Check for Bash Version.

    bash --version

    Version Need to be Up to 4.

    Load Bash Environment.

    bash -l
  6. Install Rubies.

    Best to Get Installed First, Ruby Version 1.8.7 .

    rvm install 1.8.7

    Other Examples:

    rvm install 1.8.6
    rvm install 1.9.2-head

    You will need to be Patient and Wait Until Achievement of Downloading, Compiling & Installing Procedure…

  7. Select/Use a Ruby Version.

    rvm select 1.9.2

    After you Can Check that Ruby is Working with:

    which ruby
    ruby -v
