Ubuntu Command to Dim Screen Brightness
The Tip Show How to Change/Set/Dim the Display/Screen Brightness by Command Line on Ubuntu Linux.

Open a Command Line Terminal Window
(Press “Enter” to Execute Commands).Ctrl+Alt+T
In case first see: Terminal QuickStart Guide.
Find the Connected Display Interface.
xrandr -q | grep "connected"
Look in the Output to find the Interface…
Set the Screen Brightness.
For Example:
xrandr --output LVDS-1 --brightness 0.5
