1. Open Terminal Shell emulator window
   Ctrl+Alt+t on desktop
   (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)

   

2. Download Canon MG7500 Scanner Linux Driver

   Canon MG7500 Linux Driver

   Canon MG7500 Drivers.

   Select Linux as OS
   Then the MG7500 Series Scanner .deb Driver.

3. Open a File Manager Window
   Go to Home > Downloads

   

4. Double-Click on Scanner Driver.

   

5. Extract into the /tmp Directory.

   

6. Checking/Installing GDebi Package Installer:

   which gdebi

   If Not there then:

   sudo apt-get install gdebi gdebi-core

   If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then Look:Solution

7. Install the Canon Packages with:

   cd /tmp/scangearmp-*-deb

   For 32-bit Systems:

   sudo gdebi ./*i386.deb

   For 64-bit Systems:

   sudo gdebi ./*amd64.deb

8. Installing Canon Scanner Driver.

   cd /tmp/scangearmp-*-deb

   sudo ./install.sh
