1. Open Terminal Shell emulator window
   Ctrl+Alt+t on desktop
   (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)

   

2. Download Canon MG6620 Scanner Linux Driver

   Canon MG6620 .deb 32/64-bit Driver

   Canon MG6620 Drivers.

   Select the Linux 32/64-bit OS from Drop-Down.

3. Open a File Manager Window
   Go to Home > Downloads

   

4. Double-Click on Scanner Driver.

   

5. Extract into the /tmp Directory.

   

6. Checking/Installing GDebi Package Installer:

   which gdebi

   If Not there then:

   sudo apt-get install gdebi gdebi-core

   If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then Look:Solution

7. Install the Canon Packages with:

   cd /tmp/scangearmp-*-deb

   For 32-bit Systems:

   sudo gdebi ./*i386.deb

   For 64-bit Systems:

   sudo gdebi ./*amd64.deb

8. Installing Canon Scanner Driver.

   cd /tmp/scangearmp-*-deb

   sudo ./install.sh
