Open Terminal Shell emulator window
Ctrl+Alt+t on desktop
(Press “Enter” to Execute Commands) -
Download Canon MG4100 Scanner Linux Driver
Pick the Linux .deb 32/64-bit Driver

Open a File Manager Window
Go to Home > Downloads -
Double-Click on Scanner Driver.

Extract into the /tmp Directory.

Checking/Installing GDebi Package Installer:
which gdebi
If Not there then:
sudo apt-get install gdebi gdebi-core
If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then Look:Solution

Install the Canon Packages with:
cd /tmp/scangearmp-*-deb
For 32-bit Systems:
sudo gdebi ./*i386.deb
For 64-bit Systems:
sudo gdebi ./*amd64.deb

Installing Canon Scanner Driver.
cd /tmp/scangearmp-*-deb
sudo ./install.sh
