Installing Canon MG7760/MG7765/MG7766 Drivers for Ubuntu

Canon MG7760, Canon MG7765, Canon MG7766,
Canon MG7770, Canon MG7780, Canon MG7790.

Open a Shell Terminal emulator window
Ctrl+Alt+t on desktop
(Press “Enter” to Execute Commands) -
Installing Required Packages.
sudo su -c "apt-get install libxml2 libglade2-0 libpng3 libtiff5"
If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then see: How to Enable sudo

Download Canon MG7700 Series Printer Linux Driver
Select the MG7700 Series Printers .deb Driver.

Open a File Manager Window
Go to Home > Downloads -
Possibly Double-Click on Printer Driver on the File Manager:

Extract into the /tmp Directory.

Installing Canon Printer Driver
Access the Target location:cd /tmp/cnijfilter*
Run the Installation script:
sudo ./install.sh
You could be asked to Connect and Turn On the Printer…

Now in case of Issue then try first to execute:cd packages
sudo apt-get install gdebi gdebi-core
For 32-bit Systems:
sudo gdebi ./*i386.deb
For 64-bit Systems:
sudo gdebi ./*amd64.deb

Finally, Go on System Settings to Add Printer
And the Printer will be Recognized and Installed -
