Hello Oracle Linux User! This Tutorial Shows You Step-by-Step How-to Install and Getting Started with TestDisk Partitions Scan and Disk Recovery Tools on Oracle Enterprise Linux 7.x 32/64-bit GNU/Linux.

TestDisk is powerful free data recovery software! It was primarily designed to help recover lost partitions and/or make non-booting disks bootable again when these symptoms are caused by faulty software: certain types of viruses or human error (such as accidentally deleting a Partition Table).   1. Open a Shell Terminal emulator window
    (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)

    su -c "mv /tmp/testdisk* /opt/testdisk"
