- Download Apache Maven 3.x Binaries: Maven bin.tar.gz for Kali
Open Terminal Window
(Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)
Or LogIn into Shell…
Double-Click on Archive and Extract into /tmp
Or from Shell:
tar xvzf apache-maven*.tar.gz -C /tmp/
Verify that JDK 8+ is Installed on System

Relocate Maven Binaries
Login as SuperUser:
If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then Look: Solution
Set the SuperUser as Owner:
chown -R root:root /tmp/apache-maven*
Then Switch Contents with:
mv /tmp/apache-maven* /opt/
To achieve the SuperUser session:
Add Maven Binaries to User Path
Ctrl+X to Save and Exit from “nano” :)
Load New SetUp:
