Hello Slackware User! This Tutorial Shows You Step-by-Step How-to Install the Twitter Telegram Messaging App on Slackware 32/64bit GNU/Linux Desktop.

Open a Command Line Terminal Window
Kickoff and Search for “term”
(Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)
Download Telegram Messenger App for Linux:Telegram App 32/64bit .tar.xz Linux
Double-Click on Telegram Archive and Extract into /tmp
Or from Command Line:
tar xvf tsetup*.tar.xz -C /tmp/
Installing Telegram App
(In case you do not have Administrator Privileges install it into Home…)
sudo mv /tmp/Telegram/ /opt/
If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then Look: Solution
sudo ln -s /opt/Telegram/Telegram /usr/local/bin/Telegram
For this System Wide Installation then Set Ownership with:
sudo chown -R root:root /opt/Telegram
