1. Launching Terminal
Open a Terminal Shell session
Ctrl+Alt+t on Ubuntu Desktop
(Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)
2. Setting Up FreeCAD Repository
Then Add FreeCAD PPA Repository
For the Stable Release:sudo add-apt-repository ppa:freecad-maintainers/freecad-stable
Instead, for the Latest one:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:freecad-maintainers/freecad-daily
Authenticate with the User Admin Pass.

Finally, Refresh Apt Repositories
Often needed on Ubuntu based distros:sudo apt update
If Not Found then to Amend Repo Manually
With nano Editor:sudo nano freecad*.list
And for instance Change ‘jammy’ in the previous Release ‘impish’…
Ctrl+x to Save & Exit from nano Editor.
