2. Downloading Oracle SQL Developer
Download Oracle SQL Developer for GNU/Linux.
Whenever possible choose to Save it.

3. Installing Dependencies
Then likely to Install Unzip
Run:sudo apt install unzip
Authenticate with the User Admin Pass.
If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then see: How to Enable sudo. -
4. Installing Oracle SQL Developer
Next Relocate Oracle SQL Developer
Then to switch it directly into the target Directoy:sudo unzip -d /opt/ ~/Downloads/sqldeveloper*.zip
Again give it Execution permissions:
sudo chmod +x /opt/sqldeveloper*/sqldeveloper.sh
Again Set the SuperUser as Owner:
sudo chown -R root:root /opt/sqldeveloper*/sqldeveloper.sh
Finally, make a Symlink for Easy Launching:
sudo mv /opt/sqldeveloper* /opt/sqldeveloper
sudo ln -s /opt/sqldeveloper/sqldeveloper.sh /usr/local/bin/sqldeveloper
