Setting Up

  1. 4. Installing Komodo Edit

    Now to Install Komodo Edit on MX Linux.

    1. Change to Komodo Directory.

      cd /tmp/Komodo-*

    2. Run Installation Script.

      sudo ./install.sh

      If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then see: How to Enable sudo
      And Set the Target Directory
      Example: /opt/Komodo-Edit.

    3. Make Symlink to Komodo.

      sudo ln -s /opt/Komodo-Edit/bin/komodo /usr/local/bin/komodo
