How to Install Krita on Fedora 30 Gnu/Linux

Setting Up

  1. 2. Downloading Krita

    Download Krita for Fedora GNU/Linux

    Get Krita .AppImage for Linux
  2. 3. Setting Permissions

    This Step is usually Needed to Give Ececution Permission to the User
    First, Access the Target, usually in the Downloads folder:
    (But if downloaded with Firefox it can be instead into /tmp/mozilla*)

    cd && cd Downloads

    To Check that there is run:

    ls . | grep krita

    And Give Execution Permission:

    chmod +x krita*.AppImage
  3. 4. Setting Up Krita

    (Optional because you can simply Run AppImages from Anywhere…)
    So Now, if you wanna Set up Krita on Fedora
    Make a Folder to Hold the AppImages with:

    mkdir $HOME/appImages

    And finally Switch Krita into the Location:

    mv ~/Downloads/krita*.AppImage ~/appImages
