How to Install VMware Tools on KaOS GNU/Linux

Installing

  1. Open Add/Remove Software Tool

    Install VMware-Tools for KaOS Linux - Run Add/Remove Software

  2. Search & Install the ‘linux-headers’

    Install VMware-Tools for KaOS Linux - Installing Linux Headers

  3. How to Make the Needed VMWare-Tools Init Directories

    Making rc0.d-rc6.d Init Directories
  4. Installing VMware-Tools

    cd /tmp/vmware*

    Execute Installation Script

    sudo ./vmware-install.pl

    If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then Look: Solution

    Follow to Accept All the Default Proposed Settings
    Eventually Answer “Yes” to Enable Load New Kernel Modules at Boot.
