Setting Up Driver

  1. 2. Setting Up Repo

    Add Samsung Unified Linux Driver Repository

    Adding Suldr Repo
  2. 3. Installing Samsung Printer Driver

    Then to List All Available Samsung Printer/Scanner Samsung Drivers
    Simply run:

    apt search suld-driver

    Find the Proper suld-driver to Install

    Check Samsung Printers

    But for ML-15xx, ML-16xx, ML-17xx, ML-2xxx, CLP-5xx, and CLP-6xx Models See Instead: How to Install Samsung Laser Printer Driver.

    And then to Install Samsung Deepin Linux Driver:

    sudo apt install suld-driver-[RIGHTVERSION]

    Substitute [RIGHTVERSION] with the Version found on the Above step.
    Finally, to Install Samsung GUI Samsung Printer Manager:

    sudo apt install suld-configurator-2-qt4
  3. 4. Installing CUPS

    Again Install/Update CUPS Package
    Run:

    sudo apt install cups cups-client

    And if Freshly installed it need also to Get Started with:

    sudo service cups start
