   Simply play:

   sudo apt install gcc libtool libssl-dev libc-dev 
   libjpeg-turbo8-dev libpng12-dev libtiff5-dev cups

3. 3. Downloading GutenPrint Source

   Download GutenPrint Source for Linux

   GutenPrint tar.xz Source

   Gutenprint GNU/Linux Source

   When possible Choose to ‘Open with Archive Manager’.

4. 4. Extracting GutenPrint Source

   And Extract into /tmp
   Possibly Double-Click/Right-Click to Open with Archive Manager:

   

5. 5. Installing Gutenprint

   Now to Install Gutenprint Drivers on Ubuntu
   Run in sequence:

   cd /tmp/gutenprint*

   ./configure

   make clean

   make

   sudo make install

   The Installation will be Quickly Achieved in about 5 Minutes.
