Installing

  1. 2. Downloading LibreOffice

    Download LibreOffice Suite for Kali for GNU/Linux

    Latest LibreOffice .deb.tar.gz Kali

    If you are using Firefox then on Prompt Choose “Open with Archive Manager”:

     - Firefox Prompt

    Or After try to Select the Package by the Downloads Button on Top Panel:

     - Downloaded Packages

    Instead, on Google-Chrome simply try to Choose the Package on the Bottom Panel:

  2. 3. Extracting LibreOffice

    Then Extract LibreOffice into /tmp
    Eventually Double-Click/Right-Click to Open with Archive Manager:

    Install the Latest LibreOffice Suite on Kali - LibreOffice Kali Mate Extraction

    (But if downloaded with Firefox it may be instead into /tmp/mozilla*)
    Finally, if yuo are in Trouble to Find it out on Terminal See: How to Access Downloads Folder from Browser.

  3. 4. Removing LibreOffice

    In case to Remove a Previous LibreOffice Release
    Check up with:

    which libreoffice

    And then:

    sudo apt remove libreoffice5*
  4. 5. Installing LibreOffice

    Thent to Install LibreOffice Suite .deb
    First Access the Target with:

    cd /tmp/LibreOffice*/DEBS

    Then Install the Packages:

    sudo dpkg -i ./*.deb
