Installing Requirements

  1. 2. Updating System

    So eventually to Upgrade CentOS 8
    Play:

    sudo dnf upgrade

    Authenticate with the User Admin Pass.
    If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then see: How to Enable sudo.
    In case a New Kernel is installed then reboot executing:

    sudo reboot

  2. 3. Installing Requirements

    Then to Install Required Stuff
    Run:

    sudo dnf install kernel-headers kernel-devel elfutils-libelf-devel dkms git unzip

    And again:

    sudo yum groupinstall "Development Tools"

    Authenticate with the User Admin Pass.
    If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then see: How to Enable sudo.
    And then eventually to reboot:

    sudo reboot
