Step-by-step – CUDA 11 CentOS 8.x/Stream-8 Installation

Installing

  1. 4. Installing NVIDIA CUDA 11

    Finally, Install CUDA Toolkit in CentOS
    Search for the Available Versions with:

    dnf search cuda

    And then to Setup it:

    sudo dnf install cuda-[x.y]

    Just replace the [x.y] with the wished release found on the former step.

    Again Setup PATH Env Variable.
    This is necessary to Find the Binaries on System:

    echo 'export PATH=/usr/local/cuda-11.8/bin${PATH:+:${PATH}}' >> $HOME/.bashrc

    Possibly Amend the 11.0 with the current Version…
    And Reload Configuration simply with:

    bash
