  4. 4. Extracting Linux Kernel Archive

    Then Extract Linux Kernel into /tmp Directory
    First, access the Target:

    cd ~/kernel
    Then to untar the downloaded Kernel Source into the current Folder run:
    tar -xafv ~/Downloads/linux-source*.tar.xz
