    Download Epson Image Scan Driver & Software for GNU/Linux

    Grab Epson Image Scan v3 for Linux
  2. 3. Extracting Epson DS-520 Scanner Driver

    Next Extract Image Scan Bundle into /tmp
    Possibly Double-Click/Right-Click on Archive and Open with Archive Manager:

    Or from Shell:

    tar xvzf ./*scan*.rpm.tar.gz -C /tmp/
  3. 4. Installing Requirements

    Now Install the Software Dependencies
    On Dnf based run:

    su -c "dnf in libxslt"

    On Yum based:

    sudo yum install libxslt

    Finally, on SUSE based:

    sudo zypper in libxslt

    Authenticate with the User Admin Pass.
    If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then see: How to Enable sudo.

  4. 5. Installing Image Scan

    Finally, Install imageScan Drivers+Software for Linux
    Change to the software Location:

    cd /tmp/iscan*

    Then Run the Installer:

    sudo ./install.sh
