    Now to Install txz Package on Slackware
    Use:

    sudo su
    upgradepkg --install-new [MYCOOLPACK].txz

    When –install-new is specified, the behavior is modified to install new packages in addition to upgrading existing ones.
    So for instance:

    sudo su
    upgradepkg --install-new slackpkg+*.txz

  2. 3. Removing txz Package

    Finally, to Uninstall txz Packages from Slackware
    You have simply to use the default Package Manager so:

    slackpkg remove [MYCOOLPACK]

    And so for instance:

    slackpkg remove slackpkg+
