    Now to Installing Podman on CentOS
    Simply play:

    sudo dnf install podman podman-docker

    This include the Docker compatibility Package.

  2. 3. Starting Podman

    Now to Start Podman Service
    With:

    sudo systemctl start podman

    Or to get it Started at Boot:

    sudo systemctl enable --now podman

    To check if it’s already there use:

    which flatpak

  4. 5. Installing Podman Desktop

    Then to Install Podman Desktop Flatpak App on CentOS Linux
    To Setup the Repo play:

    flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo

    And after:

    flatpak install https://dl.flathub.org/repo/appstream/io.podman_desktop.PodmanDesktop.flatpakref

    The Flatpak App Setup do Not need the sudo Command because then it Runs confined into a Sandbox.
    Then Confirm the proposed Setup with ‘Enter’ and Wait patiently until the App is Downloaded, Build and Installed.
