Setting Up

  1. 3. Downloading Gutenprint

    Download GutenPrint Source for Linux

    Link to Download the Latest GutenPrint Source Archive for GNU/Linux.

  2. 4. Extracting Gutenprint

    Now Extract Gutenprint into the /tmp directory
    Possibly, Double-clic/Right-click and open with Archive Manager:

    Install GutenPrint Printers Drivers for CUPS/Ghostscript and Gimp Plugin on Debian - Extraction

  3. 5. Installing Gutenprint

    Installing Gutenprint on Debian Linux
    First, access the targed Folder:

    Copy
    cd /tmp/gutenprint*

    Then configure.

    Copy
    ./configure

    Again make it:

    Copy
    make clean
    Copy
    make

    And finally, to install run:

    Copy
    sudo make install
