2. Downloading NVIDIA Driver
Download NVIDIA Driver for Kubuntu GNU/Linux
On the NVIDIA Support Website like in the former Step.3. Killing X Server
Then to Stop X Server & Go to Runlevel 3
4. Accessing Target
Access the Target location
Try:Copycd ~/Downloads
To Verify that it’s there List the contents with:
Copyls . | grep NVIDIA
The grep Command refine the output List showing only the Entries matching the Keyword.

Now to Install NVIDIA Generic Kubuntu Driver
First, give Execution Permission:Copysudo chmod +x ./NVIDIA-Linux*.run
Then Execute the Installer with:
Copysudo ./NVIDIA-Linux*.run
If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then see: How to Enable sudo
If some Issues then See the Readme file on Bottom…
Possibly to Edit the X Configuration file Post-installation Run:Copynvidia-xconfig
Last, to Load your barely New Graphics Driver Reboot with:
Copysudo reboot
