How to Install Canon G4400 Printer on Manjaro

Installing Printer

  1. 3. Manjaro Canon G4400 Printer/Scanner installation Driver

    Then to Install Canon G4400 Driver in Manjaro
    Simply run:

    yay -S --noconfirm canon-maxify-mb5100-complete

    On Prompt try simply to Hit “Enter” and follow with the Default Choices.
    The Command may vary over Time…
    Or alternatively:

    yay -S --noconfirm canon-ts9020

    As last option:

    yay -S --noconfirm canon-pixma-mg3000-complete

    So in case of any Issue and for further insight see: AUR canon-maxify-mb5100-complete.
    The Package includes also the Scanner Driver!

  2. 4. Launching Printers App

    Then Run Printing Manager
    Here for Xfce Desktop:

  3. 5. Adding Printer

    First Select the ‘Administration’ Tab:

    Choose ‘Add Printer’ or ‘Find Printers’:

    And Follow the Wizard…

    Then Browse to “Install PPD File” Driver.
