How to Install NoSQLBooster in Ubuntu 24.04 – Step-by-step

Setting Up

  1. 2. Setting Permissions

    This Step is usually Needed to Give Ececution Permission to the User
    If needed, first see: Terminal QuickStart Guide.
    First, Access the Target, usually in the Downloads folder:
    (But if downloaded with Firefox it can be instead into /tmp/mozilla*)

    cd && cd Downloads

    To Check that there is run:

    ls . | nosqlbooster

    And Give Execution Permission:

    chmod +x nosqlbooster*.AppImage
  2. 3. Setting Up NoSQLBooster

    (Optional because you can simply Run AppImages from Anywhere…)
    So Now, if you wanna to Set up NoSQLBooster on Ubuntu
    Make a Folder to Hold the AppImages with:

    mkdir $HOME/appImages

    And finally Switch NoSQLBooster in the Location:

    mv ~/Downloads/nosqlbooster*.AppImage ~/appImages
  3. 5. Launching NoSQLBooster

    Finally, Launch & Enjoy NoSQLBooster
    For the First, Time simply Double-Click on it in the File Manager…

    Then Over the First, Start Confirm to Make a Launcher!

    Or to Start from Terminal simply with:

    ~/appImages/nosqlbooster*.AppImage
