4. Installing the Canon PIXMA Driver
Next, to install the Canon PIXMA driver in Arch Linux,
begin by searching for the available versions:yay -Ss cnijfilter
Next, to set up the latest available release, execute:
yay -S --noconfirm cnijfilter2
When prompted, simply hit “Enter” and follow the default choices.
Please note that the command may change over time.
To browse the available drivers, visit: AUR cnijfilter2.
It’s worth noting that the cnijfilter2 version may vary over time. Currently, version 6.60 is required, but if not available, please search on the AUR Repository for Canon Drivers. -
