GNU/Linux Mint 22.x Epson ET-2600 Printer Setup – QuickStart Guide
Hello Linux Mint user! This guide explains how to set up the Epson ET-2600 printer and scanner on GNU/Linux Mint 22.x Wilma LTS 64-bit desktops.
To install the Epson ET-2600 printer on Linux Mint 22, you must configure the proprietary Epson driver.
The Epson Printer Utility Software enables you to monitor ink levels, view errors, and check other status details.
Refer to the following instructions to add the ET-2600 printer and start scanning.

Open a Terminal window

2. Updating Linux Mint Repo
First, update Linux Mint repositories:

3. Downloading Epson ET-2600 Driver for Linux Mint
Get the Linux Mint Epson ET-2600 driver
If using Firefox, select “Open with GDebi” if prompted!
With Chrome, click the button at the bottom, or double-click the file in the file manager.
Alternatively, if you prefer the command line, ‘Save’ it and follow the instructions provided below.
